Poll - What Was Your First Magic Book and First Magic Set?

As expected, Test of Metal smashed The Brothers' War in terms of votes. Tezeret is a great character and that will also nicely allow me to complete reading all the novel released after the Time Spiral Trilogy and the important Mending that changed the nature of all planeswalkers. I'm looking forward to reading it.

What Next After Test of Metal?

There is no poll as for what I'm reading next after Test of Metal. It's time I begin the story of Urza, Gerrard, and whole Weatherlight Saga with The Brothers' War. This will be about a year long project to finish that whole story. 2012 is the year of the Weatherlight.

This doesn't mean that there will be no more polls helping me to decide what other books and/or projects I take on however. There's plenty more to do. Getting Reviews up of all the comics is a big thing that I want to get started with and I'll be needing plenty of input for which ones people want to hear about sooner rather than later. And if I get to a point where I can take on multiple books at once, which may happen from time to time, there are always the other standalone books and trilogies to sprinkle throughout.

New Polls!

I may not be asking for input on what to read next with this poll, but that doesn't mean you can't help out! There are two new polls up that will help me to get to know you guys better. Getting to know my audience will certainly help me moving forward in managing what time I have in getting content up on this site. So with this new type of poll I figured I start at the beginning. The two polls are:

Which Magic Book Did You Read First?

Which Magic Set Did You Play First?

Vote in the polls to the right. Voting ends in three weeks. December 2nd.

P.S. In case anyone was curious about myself, my answers would be Arena as my first book and Revised was my first Set.

  1. I like that the "teeth of Akoum" isn't even on the book list. It doesn't count as a book, eh? (it really was that terrible!)

  2. Oh no! I wrote the poll after doing a double shift at work. I accidentally left it off (and misspelled Shadowmoor). And polls are uneditable after someone has voted.

Oh well, at least the "Other" option is available.

  3. Oh wait... I just listed it at "Zendikar" to save space. Although obviously since I wrote the poll and still thought you were right, maybe I should have written the whole title out. Same goes for The Quest for Karn.
